The Bakerloo Line is one of London Underground’s main arteries, connecting four of the capital’s main line railway stations with the heart of London’s West End.

The southern terminus at Elephant and Castle consists of just two platforms requiring fast turnarounds to provide the 3 minute service interval. Just under half the 14½ mile line is in tube tunnel, The 1972 stock trains (amongst the oldest running on the network) surface at Queen’s Park. Roughly one in three continues to Harrow and Wealdstone alongside the West Coast Main Line. As well as seeing the entire route in real time from the driver’s cab we also peek inside the Bakerloo Line’s signalling and control centre at Baker Street.

The Waterloo and City line is LUL’s smallest self contained operation running for just over 1½ miles between Waterloo and Bank. We see the whole line from the driver’s cab of a recently refurbished 1992 stock train in real time starting in the reversing siding in the compact depot at Waterloo.

COMMENTS: People who have already received this DVD have commented as follows:

Hi - wasn't able to get to Warley this year, but my B&C arrived Monday. I've watched it twice and agree it's one of the best Underground DEVs produced so far. The Drain is fascinating as well.

It takes skilful and thoughtful production to make an entertaining programme out of journeys through tunnels and Video125 always manage to achieve this.

Yes thanks - mine arrived on monday, and by that evening it had been viewed. Quality as good as ever. Well done. Liked the extra touches - viz. seeing the staff sign on point/messing faclities at E & C and of course the aerial shots. Commentary from Rob as excellent as always.

It was a most pleasant surprise when I discovered you DID have the Bakerloo DEV (at the NEC) so of course I bought it immediately.

Have just finished watching, most interesting. Well done all.

Cheers
Alan

I just wanted to say that I enjoy the Driver's Eye Videos of the London Underground and the railways of Great Britain and Europe.

I hope that Video 125 continues to make excellent British and European railway videos for years to come.
